Andrew Wesman has been cutting films since he got his first AVID license at 14. His films have premiered at Cannes, South by Southwest, Telluride, and Fantasia. Andrew has been focused on the horror genre since 2015’s Unfriended, a major international release for Blumhouse and Universal Pictures that grossed over $60M worldwide. Andrew worked with writer/director Marcus Dunstan (Saw franchise, The Collector) on the 2016 thriller The Neighbor, as well as with producer Dick Wolf on 2018’s The Super, starring Val Kilmer. He has also worked with Marja-Lewis Ryan, cutting Liked, a bromance comedy. Andrew is also regularly hired to do polishes on features, bringing them to completion. He recently worked with Timur Bekmambetov on his project Profile, which premiered at this year’s Berlinale. Andrew’s most recent project is Unfriended: Dark Web, directed by Steven Susco (writer, The Grudge), which premiered at South by Southwest and is set to be released by Focus Features in July 2018. Andrew went to college at Harvard and received his MFA from UCLA.
